Losing Ohtagaki is a blow (they even acknowledge it), but respectable that they want to stay true to the original (although I guess some would just look at that as "boring").

It’s worth noting that other than Arc, none of the various Getter Robo anime’s have followed the manga to the letter.

It’s also worth noting that Getter mangas, if followed to the letter, would probably be a far better on-screen representation of Jack Kirby’s work than Eternals ever was. That type of vision does not come cheap.

There was development on a live-action Getter Robo adaptation? sorry to ask of anyone but are there any links on this site that can provide me further insight on this adaptation?
