I sent a screenshot of that to my sister, and she was like "God forbid!". The response came in like 5 seconds after sending it to her. An immediate response from her.
This chapter is part of an arc where spoiler[Kindergarten Noir is under attack from a group of 5 terrorist sisters dressed up as maids. In Kindergarten Wars fashion, they fawn over Doug and Luke. One of the sisters mentions she like shojo manga, but she's into NTR stories, which provokes an immediate reaction from Luke. She survives.] It's probably my favorite read on Manga Plus from this year. |

His face on the first panel says "Listen here, you little s**t" so hard and to read that whole bubble afterwards was fascinating. Damn good read, I'm saving this series for later.

The translator's one thing, but think about the poor letterer!
They're the one who has to try and fit all that text into the bubble and still somehow make it legible, lol. |

There have been other examples: Tea/Kocha Agasawa has used the International name of her series "You & I are polar opposites" in the cover of the Japanese tankobon. And Nao Sasaki even "tweeted" to thank for the Spanish edition of his "Diamond in the rough". But it's not the first time You Chiba does panels like that. Some chapters ago, a character went to another two-paged spread tirade about how he really, really, really admired his older brother.

Translators don't really care if a dialog box is huge. We get paid by the character. We just care if a sentence is really long, because then it takes 10 times longer to translate.
