Godzilla is the only one who can save the Japanese box office now, and considering the bad state of the Japanese economy, they could really use that victory.
Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Digimon. Toei might as well give up any hope in this new movie making any real profit. I don't think Toei would throw bucketloads of cash at this movie just to get thrown out of the top 10 in its second weekend. Regardless of personal opinions, The Beginning is not saving Digimon. |
