Sorry i am a little confused.

This is a direct sequel to the first season not the spin off right? that is also getting its own sequal too?

The Clock Keepers arc can easily be moved to the beginning of season 2 without any problems and while does suck they skipped Kou’s arc, it’s absence doesn’t create any issues this far down the line. Those were the only arcs they skipped so it shouldn’t have too much of an effect on things.

I loved this show and I'm glad it's getting a second season and Megumi Ogata was perfect in this. But why did people claim this was going to be a reboot? There's no way they would have done a reboot for a show that just barely started and was fairly popular.
