What refreshing news! So many shoujo and josei isekai (especially early ones) are overlooked and people assume all isekai is the male wish-fulfillment stuff. Bringing attention to the shoujo stuff is wonderful.

My first thought was “great, just what we need, more isekai”, but I suppose Shojo isekai are a bit under represented.

Yes, and they’re wonderful! I love the villainess subgenre and another big recommendation is Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits. There’s also The Water Dragon’s Bride manga, which is really good. My favorite isekai manhwa is Who Made Me a Princess which is getting a donghua adaptation.

Yesssssssssss, I am 100% here for shoujo isekai coming back to the top. There were so many wonderful ones in the 90s, so they feel nostalgic for a lot of us.
