Johnny & Associates was re-named in SMILE-UP. back in October with a new talent agency to be started with a new name which was not decided on the press conference on October 2, 2023.
It was stated that SMILE-UP. would be only operating until all victims of Kitagawa have been compensated and will then be abolished.
What confuses me is, that this article states that J&A changed it's name to STARTO. Isn't STARTO the new company which was introduced on the press conference on October 2nd, which had no name back then?
