It's nice to have Austin Tindle headlining a dub.
This is no commentary on the actual quality of the dub itself but it's just kind of surreal going from the JP side's A-list casting of Zagan and Nephy to the English side having VA's you'd probably not recognize unless you were really following recent Funimation dubs. Though between Nephy and Kikoru in Kaiju No. 8, Abigail Blythe will probably become a more recognizable name, and Kieran in his cast shot looks like he's already auditioning for live-action Zagan. Dani Chambers is perfectly cast as Hotaru (is this her first HanaKana character? I feel like it isn't) and it's nice to see her headlining a Shojo anime. Also, Terri Doty! |
