Wow Bleach got less than 100k in it's first week? Is that usual?

Amazon JP says Bleach 47 came out on the 4th (day after this ranking period) so I'm thinking that number is based on early sales or preorders or something? Japanese publishers and imprints seem to release on a specific date (like the 4th of every month), unlike in the US (which tends to be Tues/Wed release-based), so whether the 4th falls at the beginning or end of the week affects how many copies can sell in that week.

at 860yen per volume, k-on did very very good. selling near 300k copies
volume 3 sold 125k on release
volume 1 and 2 sold less then 20k on release
if the price was lower to around the same as other mangas (400-550yen) it would definately break 300k volume
but thats a sales revenue of 250,000,000yens Razz compare to black butler 185,000,000yens

I especially adore anything and everything by Yuji Iwahara, and am quite willing to pay through the nose to get it. <3
