Great to see Not Simple on the list. It's a beautiful and horrifying manga.

Awesome to see Afterschool Charisma on there--I was in a Graphic Novels as Literature class last semester and for our midterm we had to create a list of the best comics we could find. AC was one of the ones that got on my list. (As well as Meanwhile, so it's awesome to see that one made it into the top ten, too.)

It's a shame this doesn't seem to really help manga in particular in terms of sales. I'm still mourning the loss of Good Witch of the West - One of YALSA's top choice for teens in 2007. Tokyopop dropped it when they were on the final volume.

How is this even possible? I've heard Viz did some censoring for it but still, there's only so much you can do. Did they just rewrite everything?

It's only the first volume of Bokurano, and I'm not sure how the manga is since I watched the anime, but the first few episodes weren't all that ominous... at least, spoiler[not until the soccer player kid vanished].

However, by the time we delve into spoiler[that teacher having a sexual relationship with not only his student but also her older sister... and then the attempted rape at the big aquarium place... ]yeah, not so much for "teens" then.

The censoring was cutting off half of a panel where a character was having sex with a far older man. That's barely any.

Anyway, it DOES have a 16+ rating from Viz...
