Wow, Sentai is getting aggressive in picking up series lately aren't they? Not complaining however, I'm enjoying UN-GO more than Guilty Crown so I was hoping this one would get licensed too.

Bandai announced it at Otakon:

As for Sentai, they seem to be beating out Funimation for me lately.

Nice announcement.

Haha, of course A Channel is announced as a license right after I finish collecting the Japanese Blu-rays. I loved A Channel and I figured it would never get licensed, so I decided on buying the Japanese Blu-rays.

Oh well, I love A Channel, so I'll buy Sentai's release, and it'll be nice to have some professional subtitles.

Hmm, not quite my most wanted SoL comedy (which is Minami-ke), but I'll probably pick this up though.

Manabi Straight would be great the two are quite different. I'd say A-Channel has a bit more of the moe factor and much more in the humor department. In fact it's much more slice-of-life'y than Manabi Straight which had more of a narrative, having real story arc(s) with a conclusive bittersweet ending (together with a sentimental reunion).

Sentai Filmworks....Just take my money for A Channel. Smile Un-Go kinda turns me off because of the art style. ;(

I have a certain inexplicable love for A Channel and was far from expecting it to be picked up.
So after a little hyperventilating, I'm just going to say that I will buy that in a heart beat, albeit I will be faster since my heart nearly stopped just now.

I know it is particularly ridiculous but, I do hope for a respectful dub.

It will almost certainly be a DVD sub-only release I would have to think. It doesn't have near enough appeal to warrant a dub and/or BluRay.
