This wasn't confirmed for a full TV series right? Well, I still can't wait though...as I'm a fan of the manga and it's hilarious.

It wasn't. But considering the sales it does on a regular basis, I'd say it's only a matter of time.

Normally Jump and most of others publishers wait, at least, near 2 years, before theirs mangas going to TV. Unless AssClass is a special case(that would be bad, because the adaptation would be earlier closer to the original), they will wait, and it will come somewhere next year or the next.

I can't wait for this, I'm happy it's just a short rather than a TV anime. (Though, hopefully it gets a TV anime after it the manga has a another year or two under its belt.)

Is AssClass setup to be a long-run, several hundred chapter series? I haven't started reading it yet, but i'm curious about this detail.

^Hard to say for sure, but I definitely don't see it lasting as long as the big name shounen titles. At the beginning of the series, a 1 year time limit of sorts is established, and as of 50-some chapters we're maybe a third of the way through that.

I'm interested in just what the event anime will cover. I imagine the most logical step would be to adapt the first chapter, but I suppose it could just be a side-story or something supplementary to the manga.

I'm excited for this one and how they release it physically in the future.
I hear it is hard to find the original event anime for One Piece which was before the TV Anime aired.

Before I begin can I just say I hate nicknaming this series assclass? I mean REALLY?!

Any way I hope they wait a while until A.C. gets a full on adaption, I mean at least let it get 75+ chapters in first. However I am looking forward to seeing the OVA.
