Latest Ghibli film still sells more DVDs than Blu-ray.

Rather surprising how Daiya no A suddenly sells 5k DVDs first week.

Not that that's a bad thing. It appeals to people outside of the otaku market because they're simply a well made films. What surprises me is that despite all of that so-called "controversy," it still ended up selling tons of copies on both Blu-ray and DVD, like every other Ghibli film. I'm glad, it was a really beautiful movie.
