The CGI is cheap but its about what I expected. I'm not excited for the movie. Now the anime I can't wait for.

God, what's with the sudden Parasyte boom? Next there's gonna be a Riki-Oh TV anime and two new live action movies LOL. But I didn't know it was that popular.
Anyway, I have the first volume of the manga, the lovely uncensored Kodansha edition, need to get the rest of the series. I also want that Migi plush that came out a while back. <_< |

It actually looks pretty good so far. Obvious CG but practical effects probably wouldn't have worked out well.

I believe its because Newline held the rights for years but not anymore. A Hollywood movie with Jim Henson Studios was planned but canceled. |

Levon: It's better than we would've gotten here. Henson's CG looks outsourced.

Probably has something to do with me telling a Kodansha rep about the similarity of the story between it and a certain YA book and film which also 'borrowed' its title from a certain Korean monster movie. |

The story look pretty close but the acting and directing/cg are less then promissing. I love the authors works but i would expect something better after 10+ years. At least the manga will be reexamined by a new generation. So that is nice ?
