I wonder if Aila will make an appearance in this. Can't wait to see some of the mecha designs soon but damn, I am hyped.

I wonder what exactly they're gonna pair against the burning gundam.
The V2, the ZZ, the Akatsuki perhaps? Anyone care to list what they haven't shown in a cameo or in battle, i have a feeling some cameos like the Infinite Justice and Sandrock will actually make it in battle. |

I'm a bit disappointed by this having an all-new cast. I wanted to see Aila and Reiji come back. I hope they have a cameo or something.

Sekai Kamiki looks like Reiji, maybe he related. Young brother? Lol
I'm sure the old cast will show up somewhere. China's brother is in this, so its possible. I hope its fun and interesting as the last series. I'm not crazy about the name they gave the show. Gundan Build Fighters Try? I know Japan manga read backwards to english readers, but is the name bad translation/advertising meant to say "Try Gundam Build Fighters"? |

Yeah seriously... I didn't dislike the two MC or anything really, but my main hope for the sequel was that Aila would have a fairly large part. Also, why does Yuuma look like he should be Iori's little brother and not China's? My first thought was that this was far enough in the future that those were their sons because of the similarities to the original MCs, but its only 7 years. |

Unless I'm mistaken, this is the first time that two Gundam series will be airing in the same season (the other being Reconguista in G, also debuting in October). I've heard mostly positive things about Gundam Build Fighters, though it doesn't grab me off of the bat. I'm not surprised to see it get a sequel, though, as it has a good amount of fans.

If so, it would at least be consistent. Don't forget that the third Slayers series was Slayers Try. |

It's a safe bet that a bunch of the old cast will have cameos, but a set of all new leads avoids power inflation where every opponent needs to be super strong right from the start. Plus, it's something of a Gundam tradition.

Wow, I already hate the fact that the female lead uses a SD model over a full blown Gundam.
I'm really hoping her unit is eventually replaced, 'cause seriously this is the second time they've done that already. You wouldn't see a guy using a SD model. Not in a gundam anime, I'm sure. |
