Good news that there's more competition, bad news that I might end up having to subscribe to multiple services just to watch the shows that I want.

While this is obviously no guarantee that they would reach countries like the UK, I commend them for reaching out to beyond the N. American anime fans.

Hopefully they have a time frame in mind. The last thing our friends overseas need is Funimation pulling a Viz. The "We are working on making our streaming titles and simulcasts available to our viewers in Canada." line that we have been getting for almost 6 years now is getting very, very tired.

That'd be quite a change for Funimation. For a long time you couldn't even access their website from over here without using a proxy server.

Could you add a clarification which of the listed anime are ones Funimation are streaming in N-America and which worldwide?

Tbh I only see Funimation expanding to native English-speaking countries. Don't know why but I just have this feeling.

No no no no. Please don't let this be true. I'm already paying for a Spanish CR subscription just for when Funi ruins shows for America, don't let this subscription go to waste too.

If they gonna have to pay the Japanese extra for the foreign licenses, they would want home distribution rights too in those territories, so woe be those local distributors in their turf.
