Wow, I can't believe how many games on this list are for Nintendo systems only. The entire top 8 is either 3DS or Wii U. The people at Nintendo should be proud!
It also amuses me that both PS4 games on that list are western releases. Is that what the PS4 will bcome associated with in Japan? |

To be fair, it's all that's out for the PS4. Japanese developers have yet to jump on board for it. I'm hoping PS4 sales will pick up once there are. A Dragon Quest edition of PS4 helped bump sales a bit, imagine what a Dragon Quest game for PS4 would do. Then again, it feels like Dragon Quest is a Nintendo franchise right now considering the last Dragon Quest game Sony got was in 2004. -Stuart Smith |

Seeing that the first eight slots were occupied by the WiiU and 3DS titles, it's pretty clear Nintendo owned the last week of December.
