Hmm, I don't think Ai Kayano has been in any huge roles this year but I think her voice would work for Omamori. I think I recognize her role as Kurumi Narumi from Mikagura this season.

Hmm... Darzana Magbaredge in Aldnoah.Zero's 2nd cour, Kasumigaoka Utaha in Saenai Hiroin no Sodatekata, Kyōka in Fairy Tail, and Aiza Nagi in Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso's 2nd half are pretty big, center-of-stage roles, IMO. |

The horror manga Kiseijū was published from late 80s to mid-90s; its anime adaptation updated the models & settings to be more 00s. It can be done, it just depends on the artistic choices made during production. |
