This seems like a... weird crossover. I hope they can make it actually fit, and not just be forced. That said, it has the potential to be good. I've never read or seen any of Devilman (heard it's good, though), but I remember 009 Cyborg from when I was a kid, so I'm looking forward to it.

This sounds pretty crazy, but that is one fantastic PV.

Like the previous poster, not particularly familiar with Devilman other than it's supposed to be good. Always up for something Cyborg 009.

And I'm that guy who's actually more familiar with Devilman than Cyborg 009. I watched the OVAs some days ago, and they were nice. This announcement got me to check out Cyborg 009's 2001 show (Just watched the first episode, and it seems to be nice)

Brb, gonna buy the Devilman DVD set.
Seriously though, this looks amazing. 2015 really is the revival of old school anime.

This announcement bums me out. I enjoy both Cyborg 009 and Devilman, but I was really hoping that the Devilman anime was going to be the one to properly adapt the manga. They initially announced both series as separate projects.

Cyborg 009 already go a proper series in 2001.

A proper manga to anime adaptation of Devilman would have been more than glorious. Instead, I have to settle for this throwaway action crossover.

I think the art styles may clash

Wasn't the new Devilman announced as a tv series, while this is a short OVA? Perhaps they're parallel projects?
Anyway, there was already a Devilman/Mazinger Z crossover movie in the 70s, so they might make this work.

I actually think if they did the animation for Cyborg 009 (2001 version) but made it look a bit more modern would look better. I can't comment on Devilman since I haven't invested my time in it.
