Funny to see this because I watched the Yumekuri OVA just yesterday which has a very similar premise with hot spring spirits and all. |

This sounds like it could have been a fan service lover's anime but it does sound like it would be a short anime. However, "onsen" has become almost essentially a requirement for such shows.
