Durarara! Gets Special Chapter by Akiyo Satorigi

The November issue of Square Enix's GFantasy magazine announced on Saturday that Akiyo Satorigi (Durarara!!, Durarara!! Saika Arc, Durarara!! Yellow Scarves Arc) will draw a special Durarara!! chapter in the following issue on November 18. The chapter is tentatively titled "Durarara!! Gaiden!?" (Durarara!! Side-Story) and it takes place immediately after the end of Durarara!! Yellow Scarves Arc.
The December issue will also launch a new Durarara!! manga by artist Aoigiri. The magazine features a preview for the story of the manga:
Looking at the game board called "Ikebukuro," the information seller Izaya Orihara laughs fearlessly. His devillish whisper tricks the creator of the group Dollars... Tranquility does not suit Ikebukuro. Authority from shady places, the Awakusu family, assassins from abroad, delinquents from Saitama, and an underclassman who knows Mikado's secrets. All of their ideas collide, and Ikebukuro is thrown into chaos once again.
Yen Press publishes the original Durarara!! manga adapting the novels in North America, as well as its sequel Durarara!! Saika Arc. The company released the first volume in the continuation of the manga titled Durarara!! Yellow Scarves Arc last month. A second season of the television anime adapting the novels will premiere in January.
