Kan Colle Arcade Game Also Delayed to Spring 2016
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official Twitter account of Sega's Kan Colle arcade game posted on Wednesday that it has delayed the game's release to spring 2016. The account noted that it will aim to provide a playable test machine some time during the winter. Sega initially planned a summer 2015 release for the game, and then delayed it to fall.
Kadokawa Games also delayed the release of its Kan Colle Kai PlayStation Vita game to spring 2016.
The game cabinet has controls modeled after a ship's wheel and engine order telegraph lever to control the timing of volleys and how players' fleets can search for enemy fleets. It also features 3D animated models of the characters. Like the original Kan Colle browser game, the game will have a home port interface where players can manage resources and check the status of their ships.
Sega held location tests for the arcade game between January 23 and January 25 at the Club Sega Akihabara in Tokyo.
Sega previously streamed an advertisement movie and a product introduction movie for the game in August.
