Aniplex of America Appoints Shu Nishimoto as President

Aniplex of America announced on Friday that Shu Nishimoto was appointed the new company president on June 21. Nishimoto is replacing Hideki 'Henry' Goto, who will take on the role of Head of International Business Development at Aniplex in Tokyo.
Nishimoto joined Aniplex as Manager of Sales in 2009. In 2014, he joined Aniplex's California-based subsidiary Aniplex of America as Vice President of Licensing in 2014. He worked on distribution deals with Amazon, Netflix, and Hulu.
