Tokyo Ghoul:re Simuldub Schedule Moves to 2-Week Delay

FUNimation Entertainment announced on Wednesday that its simuldub of Tokyo Ghoul:re will move from its current release schedule, where dubbed episodes debut on the same day as their subtitled versions, to a two-week delay like most other simuldubs. This week's episode (episode 9) is currently available in Japanese with English subtitles only, and will debut with an English dub on June 12.
Funimation had previously announced that only the "first few" episodes would get an English dub day-and-date with the Japanese version.
Funimation is also streaming its English dub of My Hero Academia season 3 simultaneously with Japan. The company initially announced that it would stream only the first six episodes at this pace, but aside from a delay on the first episode, the company has kept the pace up through the eighth and most recent episode.
