Trivia:

In episode 1, in the very beginning of the episode the main characters from "Gai-Rei-Zero"(Hajime Segawa's other manga/anime) Yomi and Kagura make an appearance.

In Episode 3, the men who are looking for the penguin look like mock copies of "Egon Spengler", "Ray Stanz" and "Peter Venkman", the characters from the "Ghostbusters" movies, minus the "Proton Packs" which are replaced by ordinary backpacks and they wield net cannons instead.

In Episode 5, on the widescreen TV there is an advertisement for the anime "Ga-Rei Zero" on when the blu-ray special box is to be released, along with "Tsuchimiya Kagura"s angry face. "Ga-Rei Zero" is a supernatural anime about "Youkai"s with lots of action and gore.

In Episode 6, the panda that uses the "Panda Pai Ken" on Urushiba Rinka has the same name as "Son Goku's" sensei in the "Dragonball, DBZ & DBGT" anime series, the panda's name is "Roshi".

In Episode 6, Yodani Roshi teaches Urushiba Rinka his fighting style: "CPC: Close Panda Combat", the initials are highlighted indicating that its a parody of the "CQC". "CQC" is the fighting style that was introduced in the videogame "Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater" used by "Big Boss a.k.a. Naked Snake".

In Episode 7, Edoyama Murasaki is wearing the same color pattern and clothing (yellow and black tracksuit), complete with "Nunchukus", that "Bruce Lee" wore in the movie "Game of Death". The slight differences is that the pants reaches just below the knee instead of extending fully straight down to the ankles and has a hoodie.

In Episode 8, half way through the show there is a statue of "Colonel Saunders" shown by a window.

In episode 11, at 6:33 there is a billboard featuring Michael from Grand Theft Auto 5.
