"SeHa Girls" is short for "Sega Hard[ware] Girls", since the characters represent Sega game consoles (hardware) of the past.
During the ending dance sequence, Mega Drive has trouble following the dance steps as she clutches her 16 BIT book tightly. When the girls finally graduate at the end of the penultimate episode, Mega Drive executes the dance sequence perfectly.
The design of Center is based on the Sega character Professor Asobin, a former company mascot who appeared in the instruction manuals for most of the SG-1000 game library.
Center's true identity is that of Yuji Naka, a former designer, programmer and producer at Sega from 1983 to 2006, best known as one of the creators of "Sonic the Hedgehog". Naka went uncredited as the voice of Center until the series' 13th episode.
