Plot Summary: Bontenmaru Daisuke, or otherwise known as "Gatten Taro", dreams of becoming a policeman in Edo. For that reason, he studies at the Edo Police Academy to obtain the Edo Police Badge. He will need to collect 10 of these badges in order to be qualified as a policeman. Daisuke studies earnestly and seriously for the sake of these badges. However, he faces failures along the way and the road to becoming a full-fledged policeman seems long and tedious.
