Trivia:

Vector Prime's alternate mode looks much like a Sith Infiltrator from Star Wars, and he also shares the name of a Star Wars novel, though the name is possibly coincidence.

An upcoming Transformers Collector's Club comic will state that Vector Prime is in fact one of the first thirteen Transformers created by Primus which eventually spawned the entire race.

Originally designed to follow the Micron Densetsu & Superlink storylines, however was redone into a new continuity sometime during production. In spite of this, 4Kids decided to tweak it to follow in the storyline of Armada and Energon, leaving plotholes the size of Unicron's butt in the continuity.

Two special DVDs were released for Transformers Galaxy Force in the Japan. One of them describes the history of the Trannsformers and that Micron Convoy and Grand Convoy was considered past Convoys who defeated Unicron and the Destrons in the past. This gave a clearer view that Galaxy Force was indeed a continuity after a couple of years (which wasn't clearly stated) from Superlink and Micron Densetsu. The other DVD which came with the Robot Masters limited edition action figure gave light to a couple of questions that came to fans' minds during the series which includes the history of the Planet Forces and so on.
