Trivia:

The anime showing in the karaoke episode is Macross 7.

The Mr. Q pseudonym is a reference to Ultra Q, a detective series which influenced Ultraman. The V3 pseudonym is a reference to Kamen Rider.

The time travel episode features robots called "Geta" Robo, a spoof of Getter Robo and a pun on "geta", the Japanese word for sandal.

Chieko's underlings (Hidariko, Migiko, Ueko, and Shitako) all have "positional" names: hidari, migi, ue, and shita mean left, right, above, and below, respectively.

At the begining of each episode when Nuku-Nuku describes the show the scenes and what she is describing is actually NUKU-NUKU DASH.

One of the running gags of the show is Nuku-Nuku Mispronouncing Chieko ShiraKaba's Name even when out of Earshot.

In the first scene of most episodes(before the opening credits), there is a subtitle on the screen showing that the series takes place in 2013 and 2014. Using the facts that episode 3 takes place during Golden Week (April 29-May 5) and that the next to last episode takes place before the school's seniors graduating (in Japan, this occurs in March), we can narrow the setting to taking place from April 2013 through March 2014.

The songs sung by the characters in episode 4 are also used throughout the series as background music for those respective characters.
