Plot Summary: Ninth-grader Kyu dreams of becoming the world's greatest detective. So it is that he decides to take the bizarre Dan Detective School entrance exam. The school is named after the legendary detective Morihiko Dan. At the exam center, Kyu meets his new rivals: Meg, a girl with a photographic memory; Kinta, who has a savage instinct; Kazuma, an IT freak; and Ryu, who can only be described as mysterious. The five kids pass the difficult test and enter the so-called "Qualified Class," known also as Class Q, a special class from which the successor of Morihiko Dan will be chosen. The young detectives work together to solve a number of difficult cases, each one aspiring to become the world's number-one detective and Dan's successor.
