10-years after the climatic events of DragonBall Z, Goten, Gohan, and Trunks are grown up living out their daily lives in the big city. Gohan is married to Videl, Mr. Satan's daughter, and have a daughter of their own, Pan, while Goku has continued his training with Uubu under the watchful eyes of Mr. Popo and Dende.
Unfortunately, ghosts of the past surface to haunt our heroes in the form of Emperor Pilaf, who has gathered the Ultimate Dragonballs and, having conjured the Dragon, wishes that Goku become a child again! Upon granting the terrible wish, the Dragonballs scatter across the universe. Now, Goku, Trunks, and the Z Warriors must quest deep into the far cosmos for the fabled Black Star Dragonballs if they hope to remove the curse placed upon Goku and save Earth from imminent destruction!
