Sengoku Basara 3 Utage Stage Play's Cast Revealed

posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Singer Nami Tamaki is cast as Oichi for stage play to open this spring

The official website for the Sengoku Basara 3 Utage stage play adapted from CAPCOM's series of games and anime opened last Tuesday with a cast interview video, dates of the play, ticket reservations, and a complete main cast list. A notable addition to the cast is singer Nami Tamaki (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, D.Gray-man) as Oichi.

The cast list of 18 members is as follows:

The play will be held from April 26-28 at the Fukuoka Canal City Theater for four performances, Nagoya Chūnichi Theater from May 2-4 for five performances, the Tokyo Nippon Seinenkan Great Hall from May 10-19 for 14 performances, and finally ending at the Osaka Morinomiya Piloti Hall from May 23-26 for six performances. Advance tickets cost 7,200 yen (about US$82), and will begin selling next week.

On the bottom of the cast page in small print, the website notes that although in the cast introduction video, one of the cast made a statement that might be understood as hint that Keiji Maeda might appear in the Sengoku Basara 3 stage play. The note states that there are no plans for this to happen.
