Fan Chart Compares Sound! Euphonium Character Designs Across 3 Mediums

Adapting characters from paper to screen is always tricky business. Kyoto Animation's current adaptation of Ayano Takeda's Hibike! Euphonium: Kitauji Kōkō Suisōgaku-Bu e Yōkoso novels is one instance where characters' hair color, cut, and overall design were tweaked or outright changed for the television series.
Unlike standard novels, the Sound! Euphonium light novels do contain some images by illustrator Nikki Asada but the images focus on the series' main cast. This is where a lot of the major design differences come into play, especially when comparing Hami's manga art and Kyoto Animation's character designs. A chart being shared on Twitter lays out the differences between all three.
