Mr. Osomatsu Pioneer Headphones Have a Different Design for Each Brother

The Mr. Osomatsu anime is getting a line of headphones in a collaboration series with Japanese electronics and entertainment company Pioneer. Pre-orders for the headphones opened on the Onkyo Direct website on Tuesday and will close on July 31. They are set for release mid-September.
The Mr. Osomatsu-themed headphones are priced at 9,000 yen (USD $80) and come in six different styles. They are based on the SE-MJ722T model from the company.

The headphones are the second item in the collaboration. Pioneer is also releasing a set of Mr. Osomatsu-inspired earbuds based on its SE-CL522 mode. Pre-orders opened on April 27 and close on June 30. They are slated to ship in late August.
The earphones are priced at 4,980 yen (USD $44) and, like the headphones, come in six different models.
Fujio Akatsuka launched the Osomatsu-kun manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in 1962. The original manga and "high tension comedy" TV anime centered on the Matsuno household, which has six naughty and mischievous sons (who are sextuplets). The new 2015 anime Mr. Osomatsu (Osomatsu-san) re-imagines the original manga and TV anime with the sextuplets as adults. A second season was confirmed in April.
