Manga Stars Come Out for Kimi ni Todoke Tribute Book

Karuho Shiina's long-running Kimi ni Todoke romance manga ended last month after 10 years of publication. Fans read each chapter about the once lonely Sawako "Sadako" Kuronuma as she revamps her high school life with friends and a burgeoning romantic relationship with Shōta Kazahaya. Some of those fans weren't just Bessatsu Margaret readers, but Shiina's manga peers.
A total of 28 manga creators contributed to the Kimi ni Todoke Tribute Book, a bonus that shipped with the January 2018 issue of Bessatsu Margaret on December 13. The book includes both illustrations and messages of congratulations from the likes of Gōshō Aoyama (Detective Conan), Hirohiko Araki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure), Sui Ishida (Tokyo Ghoul), and Yumi Tamura (Basara).

Viz Media is releasing the Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You manga in English and released the 27th volume in September. The manga was adapted into two television anime seasons and NIS America released both seasons on home video in North America. The 30th, and final, manga volume will be released in Japan in March 2018.
