Sgt. Frog Characters Stage Animate Girls Festival Takeover as Pretty Boys

The amphibious aliens of Sgt. Frog have a new plot up their sleeve for world domination: win over girls and women. The characters' transformation into beautiful boys isn't random; there's a whole plot to Keroro and company's new look.
The story goes that Keroro's invasion funding bottomed out and he has to earn more money if he wants keep his plans afloat. He enlists the help of Kururu who invents the Handsome Cannon: Otokoha Kekkyoku Yoyū to Seiketsu Cannon. Keroro reluctantly agrees to use the device to become a handsome guy and earn some much needed cash.
Keroro and his fellow aliens will "invade" the Animate Girls Festival on November 9-10 as part of the "Operation: Ikemen Invasion". The characters' handsome forms were supervised by Sgt. Frog creator Mine Yoshizaki. Original goods based on the new designs will be sold at the SMIRAL booth.
Sgt. Frog has been celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special exhibit in Shibuya Tower Records and new merchandise.
