If You Don't Know 'It' You'll Never Get a Girlfriend, Says Choromatsu in It Chapter Two Collab Video

A few days ago, the anime film Eiga no Osomatsu-san released an extremely cursed collaboration image with It Chapter Two, the horror film based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. Now the Osomatsu brothers are trying really hard to plug the film. In a collaboration video released by Warner Brothers Japan on Thursday, Choromatsu tells Juushimatsu, "If you don't know what 'it' is, you'll never get a girlfriend." The horror!
In the video, Choromatsu introduces the basic premise of It and explains that it's very popular. When Juushimatsu hears about the Losers' Club, he says, "That sounds like us." Choromatsu says, "Yeah, we're also magnificent losers. No, wait, I don't want to relate to that!"
Juushimatsu asks who the clown is. Choromatsu says, "Something scary will happen if you don't know what 'it' is."
Juushimatsu: "Something scary...?"
Choromatsu: "If you don't know 'it'..."
Juushimatsu: "If you don't know 'it'...?"
Choromatsu: "You'll never get a girlfriend! You'll be a virgin for life!"
Juushimatsu agreed that this was a horrifying prospect indeed.
The Eiga no Osomatsu-san film opened in Japan in November last year. The film centers on the sextuplets at a high school class reunion. There, they see all their former classmates who have become "proper" adults with company jobs. The sextuplets sulk about this and go home and drink until they fall asleep. But when they wake up, a certain scene awaits them. It Chapter Two opened in Japanese theaters on Friday.
