Sen to Chihiro opening day numbers largest ever.
Miyazaki's latest film Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi ("Sen and Chihiro Spirited Away") opened on the July 20th and drew a 20% larger audience than Mononoke on the release day. At Hibiya Sukara-Za theater in Tokyo, 700 people were drawn up in queue in front of the theater on the night before the opening day.
