ADV Manga, 1000 volumes

ADV Manga has licensed over 1000 individual volumes or manga and manwha for North American release. ADV's John Ledford stated that while they have already licensed them, not all are planned for release in 2004.
Comparatively, Tokyopop has stated that they expect to release somewhere between 450 and 500 volumes in 2004. Viz declined to provide ANN with an estimate of the quantity of manga they will release in 2004.
