Top Selling Japanese Console Games

The Magic Box has recently posted a chart listing the top selling Japanese console games for 2005 (December 27, 2004 to December 25, 2005).

Overall, Nintendo was the leading game publisher, followed by Bandai, Konami, Sony and Square Enix. Namco, which recently merged with Bandai, came in sixth combined they would not have been able to overtake Nintendo for the #1 position.
The Pokémon Company, which publishes nothing but Pokémon games ranked tenth,
