Right Stuf's Podcast Interviews Astro Boy's Fred Ladd

Anime Today, the podcast of the anime distributor and retailer Right Stuf, has interviewed Fred Ladd, the producer of the English adaptations of Astro Boy (Mighty Atom), Gigantor (IronMan 28), and Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor). These productions in the Sixties were among the first Japanese-animated series ever broadcasted in the United States. Episode 52 of the podcast includes the first half of the interview, which discusses Ladd's background in radio and television, the challenges of Astro Boy's adaptation, and the worldwide influence of that series.
