Devil Kings Basara's Shimotsuki to Launch Death Edge Manga

1st episode, about war fought by angels in modern Japanese town, posted online
Kairi Shimotsuki, the artist of Brave10 and the first manga series based on the Sengoku Basara (Devil Kings) action games, has launched the Death Edge manga in the December issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Maoh magazine on Monday. The new fantasy manga centers on "angels" who are fighting a holy war in the fictional modern town of Kamishiro. The magazine's website has posted the entire first installment online.
Udon Entertainment began releasing Shimotsuki's Sengoku Basara Ran-Se-Ran-Bu manga in North America under the name Devil Kings Basara last April. CAPCOM confirmed at this month's Tokyo Game Show that Production I.G is adapting the Sengoku Basara games into a 2009 television anime series.
