Da Capo, Ichirin-sha, Star Driver Promos Streamed

D.C. I & II P.S.P. with OVA & Star Driver Kagayaki no Takuto next month

The multimedia developer Circus has begun streaming a 92-second digest video for the D.C. I&II P.S.P. RE-ANIMATED original video anime (OVA) project on its official website and YouTube channel on Monday. The video will ship as a bonus extra in the limited 500-copy Platinum Pack for its D.C. I & II P.S.P. game. The D.C. I & II P.S.P. release takes the edited Sony PlayStation 2 versions of the D.C. ~Da Capo~ and D.C. II: Da Capo II romance story games, and ports them to the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) console with all 27 heroines. The OVA will feature the newly animated love confession scenes of four heroines: Nemu Asakura, Kotori Shirakawa, Yume Asakura, and Otome Asakura. The Premium Pack will ship on October 28.



The Anime Innovation Tokyo (AIT) production company began streaming a 7-minute video for its original animation project Ichirin-sha on Friday. Ushio Tazawa, the character designer and animation director on Makoto Shinkai's The Place Promised in Our Early Days, created and directed the project at the anime studio Nomad (Rozen Maiden). AIT describes the beginning of the story as the following:

On a planet very similar to the earth… Here, the missile mechanoids started to have its own will and control, and were driving the human beings into serious danger. Shaleen was the last "ICHIRIN-SHA (unicyclist)" in the world, traveling the world on his beat up motor unicycle. One day, when Shaleen was running from the attacks of the missile mechanoids, he stops by a ghost town and meets a mysterious girl who was constantly targeted by the mechanoids. […]



The official website for Bones' Star Driver Kagayaki no Takuto television anime series began streaming its fourth television commercial on Monday. The "school robot action" story is set on a verdant island called Southern Cross, where a boy named Takuto Tsunashi arrives one night by swimming ashore. He enrolls in the island's high school academy, which happens to conceal a secret — 20 giant humanoid machines underground.

The anime will premiere in Japan on October 3. The production company Aniplex America announced that New York Comic Con and Anime Festival will host the the American premiere of the first English-subtitled episode on October 9. Masahiko Minami, the president and executive producer of Bones, will answer questions and sign autographs after the screening.
