Japanese Box Office, April 9-10

OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders, the film which celebrates the Toei movie company's 60th anniversary and the Kamen Rider franchise's 40th anniversary with all 28 Kamen Rider heroes and special guests, stayed at #1 for a second week. It earned the equivalent of US$2,132,999 on 273 screens during the April 2-3 weekend for a cumulative total of US$9,063,189.

Doraemon: Shin Nobita to Tetsujin Heidan - Habatake Tenshi-tachi, Yukiyo Teramoto and Shinei Animation's remake of the 1986 film Doraemon: Nobita to Tetsujin Heidan (Doraemon: Nobita and the Platoon of Iron Men), dropped from #3 to #4 in its sixth weekend on Kogyo Tsushinsha's chart. On Box Office Mojo's chart, it stayed at #4 and earned US$1,079,444 on 327 screens (6 more than the previous weekend) for a total-to-date of US$26,533,801.

Precure All-Stars DX3 Mirai ni Todoke! Sekai o Tsunagu Niji-Iro no Hana, Takashi Otsuka's third film to combine the casts of all the Pretty Cure (Precure) magical girl television series to date, stayed at #5 in its fourth weekend with US$780,395 on 152 screens for a gross-to-date of US$9,771,457.

Jump Heroes Film, the double-billing of Toriko 3D: Kaimaku Gourmet Adventure!! and One Piece 3D: Mugiwara Chase, dropped from #8 to #11 in its fourth weekend. It added US$517,487 on 140 screens to its total of US$7,991,979.

The live-action film adaptation of the High School Debut manga also fell from #11 to #12 in its second weekend. It earned US$447,213 on 140 screens (3 more than the previous weekend) for a cumulative total of US$2,281,567.

Macross Frontier: Sayonara no Tsubasa, the second anime film based on Shōji Kawamori and Satelight's Macross Frontier science-fiction series, fell from #12 to #13 in its seventh weekend. It earned US$181,845 on 38 screens (1 more than the previous weekend) for a gross-to-date of US$6,845,201.

The stereoscopic 3D conversion of Kenji Kamiyama and Production I.G's Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society movie slipped from #13 to #14 in its third weekend. It added US$163,769 on nine screens for a total of US$1,097,970.

The first film in Shinsuke Satō's live-action adaptation of Hiroya Oku's Gantz action manga fell from #14 to #15 in its 11th weekend. It earned US$148,130 on 261 screens to add to its total of US$40,127,423.

Gekijō-ban Anime Nintama Rantaro Ninjutsu Gakuen Zenin Shutsudō! no Dan, the film based on the ninja comedy television anime Nintama Rantaro, is no longer listed on either chart.
