MangaGamer to Host Game Creators at Anime Expo

Hiroshi Takeuchi ("bamboo"); Shinji Katakura; Kazutoshi Matsumura ("Tororo-Dancho")

The European bishōjo game localizer MangaGamer announced its first set of its guests — all returning from last year — for Anime Expo 2011:

  • Hiroshi Takeuchi ("bamboo"), who is the president of OVERDRIVE; producer of Edelweiss, Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia, Kira Kira, and Kira Kira Curtain Call; and vocalist for milktub (Baka to Test to Shōkanjū)
  • Shinji Katakura, an artist on Japanese game company OVERDRIVE's Edelweiss and Kira Kira titles as well as the character designer for Green Green and The Melody of Oblivion and the project manager of Dengeki Stryker
  • Kazutoshi Matsumura ("Tororo-Dancho"), who is the president of Japanese game company CIRCUS and the producer of Da Capo; Sora wo Tobu, Mittsu no Houhou; MaiHime: Unmei no Keitouju; Gift; and True Tears

    • Anime Expo will run from July 1 to July 4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

    Takeuchi will be holding his next live streaming session for overseas fans on June 21 at 10:00 p.m. EDT. MangaGamer also announced that it has released a demo of Innocent Grey's Kara no Shōjo visual novel and launched a website for hard copy releases in the European Union.
