Dennō Coil Anime's Browser Game Slated for 2012

The Japanese online game company GameOn opened a teaser website on Thursday for its browser game based on the Dennō Coil (Den-noh Coil) anime, and the site revealed that the game is slated to launch next year.
Dennō Coil Hōkago Tantei Kyoku (Dennō Coil Afterschool Detective Agency) will put players in the shoes of elementary school students in Daikoku City. As in the anime, the players solve the mysteries in this net-connected world with augmented-reality technology.
GameOn announced in October of 2010 that it acquired the exclusive global license to make a web browser game based on Dennō Coil, but it revealed little to no information about the project to the public until now. The website is registering players until December 31, and an early test-play period is planned for mid-January.
