London Anime Con Begins Saturday

posted on by Andrew Osmond
Event site says that on-the-door attendees "pretty much guaranteed" a ticket.

As of the evening of Friday February 10, the website for the London Anime Con was saying: "Online Registrations are now closed, but this does not mean there will not be tickets on the day. Thanks to increased capacity, you are pretty much guaranteed to get a ticket."

The event will take place on Saturday February 11 and Sunday February 12 at The Rocket Complex (166 Holloway Road, near the Holloway Road underground station). The program of events is available here, including a J/K-pop party on Saturday evening; a Cosplay Masquerade on Sunday afternoon; a video gaming zone; plus talks, workshops and anime screenings.

As the lower level of the Rocket Complex is a licensed bar, the event is restricted to attendees aged 18 and older. An ID with proof of age is required on the day; for more details, see the FAQ here. Tickets are £10 for one day. An evening pass from 6 p.m. is £5 on the door.
