Hideaki Sena's TV short depicts future in NHK's Computer Revolution special

On Sunday evening, Japanese public broadcaster NHK aired a Computer Kakumei: Saikyō x Saisoku no Zunō Tanjō (The Computer Revolution: The Birth of the Most Powerful and Fastest Brains) special with an anime short (video link) conceived by Parasite Eve author Hideaki Sena. Through the eyes of a high school senior named Mako, the anime depicts how ubiquitous computers have transformed every aspect of life in Tokyo in the fall of 2020.

Sena's science-fiction novel Parasite Eve inspired both a film and a video game series, and all three were released in North America by Vertical, ADV Films, and Square, respectively.
