Code:Breaker Anime's 5th Promo Video Highlights Code:02

The official website for the Code:Breaker "dark hero" television anime began streaming the fifth promotional video on Wednesday. The new video is titled “Shisha wa Eien no Nemuri o” (Eternal Sleep for the Dead). The 88-second video highlights Subaru Kimura's role as the character Masaomi Heike/Code:02.

This anime adaptation of the Code:Breaker manga by Akimine Kamijyō (Samurai Deeper Kyo) is slated to premiere in Japan on Saturday. The website previously streamed a similar video highlighting the main character Rei Ōgami (Nobuhiko Okamoto) in July, followed by videos for other Code:Breakers.

Yasuhiro Irie (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Kurau: Phantom Memory) is directing the series at the studio Kinema Citrus. Yukie Akiya will serve as the character designer and chief animation director, and Masayuki Sakoi will serve as the assistant director.

Yōko Hikasa (K-ON's Mio) as Sakura Sakurakōji, Kenichi Suzumura (Gintama's Okita) as Masaomi Heike, Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Durarara!!'s Mikado) as Yūki Tenbōin, Mitsuki Saiga (.hack's Tsukasa) as Rui Hachiōji, and Shinichiro Miki (Bleach's Kisuke Urahara) as Hitomi.
