4th Yamato 2199 Anime Film's Promo Streamed

Film distributor Shochiku began streaming a promotional video for the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 television anime series and film project's fourth film on Friday. Ginga Henkyō no Kōbō (The Remote Area of the Galaxy's Offense and Defense) will open in 12 theaters in Japan on January 12.
Tokyo's Shinjuku Piccadilly theater and Osaka's Namba Parks Cinema will hold premium advance screenings for the film on January 11. Tickets that include a bonus helmet key holder are available to Yamato Crew fan club members until December 25. Regular ticket sales will begin on December 28. Limited-edition Blu-ray Discs and other items will be sold at the special screenings.
The project's fourth film is composed of episodes 11-14 of this Space Battleship Yamato remake. Kokia (.hack//The Movie, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE) is performing the ending theme song "Kioku no Hikari" (Light of Memories) for the film.
The third film, which is composed of episodes 7-10, opened in 10 theaters in Japan on October 13, and was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on November 22.
