Hana Yori Dango's Kamio Draws 1-Shot Manga

2013's second issue of Shueisha's Margaret magazine included a new, one-shot manga by Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) creator Yōko Kamio on Thursday. "Ringo Banana Gyūnyū" (Apple Banana Milk) is Kamio's first manga for Margaret in six years. The short story details the romantic relationship between childhood friends.
Kamio's Hana Yori Dango ran in Margaret magazine from 1992 to 2004. It was adapted into a television anime series and two live-action films and two live-action television series. Her latest series, Tora to Ōkami, launched in 2010 in Bessetsu Margaret, and it wrapped a year ago.
The latest Margaret issue also launched OtomeHolic manga series by Mikko Komori.
